Yes, I repeat “it sucks”

Woke up this morning only to realize that it’s not morning anymore, It was 1.30 in the afternoon. Thanks for making Heroes which kept me awake till 4 am.

Grabbed a brush and I’m ready to eat food in minutes. Where do we go for lunch? the usual place (the chinese food joint near CMR college was closed). So we three (me, rulesmm & angelus) head to this new place called ‘4 C Cafe’.

Oh yeh!, get me 1 french fries, 1 spring roll (obviously for starters) and 1 chicken fried rice, 1 veg fried rice, 1 chicken hakka noodles & 1 red chicken (can’t recall the name). A quick time check, It’s sharp 2.00 p.m. when we place the order.

It’s 2.20 and we’re busy talking about some nuclear reactor & the XKCD on regular expressions . The waiter was a very soft spoken person. Angelus goes first, “where are the starters we ordered for?”, silence is all what I hear, The waiter nods his head & goes inside. This happens a couple of more times before I yell at the guy on the counter, “where the hell are the starters we ordered for?”. He quicks comes to us & says 2 min sir. o k goes every one.

WTF!, It’s 2.45 and still no sign of starters or the main course. “Call the guy who can understand what we speak (english)” goes rulesmm, he comes & repeats the same thing again, it’s done sir, we’ll serve you in 2 mins.

It’s 3.00 p.m, finally after waiting for 1 hr (theBeast had called me on my mobile phone when we were placing the order for food, checked the phone logs & 1.59 p.m was when he called). Spring rolls arrive, 2 mins & we wipe the plate clean. Wait for 5 mins, french fries arrive, 2 mins & we wipe that clean too. 5 more mins & no, it’s not the main course, it’s the waiter who arrives with the bill. All three look at each other and go “w00t! where is the food we ordered for?”. Sir, you told you parcel, No .. we didn’t. Damn! get the food now. 

Phew! It’s 3.15 p.m and finally the food arrives. It was just ‘ok’ and not wort waiting for at all. The chicken gravy (the red color thingy) we ordered for was smelling of fish. Awww!, filtered the chicken pieces & the gravy was untouched.

Bill: Rs. 330. ok. Let’s tip the waiter, poor chap, it’s not his fault if he is not good at english. The innocent waiter doesn’t even take the tip, he hands the bill with the money+tip to the counter guy.

This is one of the worst(will rate it highest) restaurants I have been t in my life.

Piece of advice: Don’t visit this place for lunch/dinner. I can’t speak about the coffee over there. But food surely sucks!
